Lyn, Brisbane, April 2017:   The walk was an outstanding experience, nothing was too much trouble, and the high calibre of people on the team made this one of the best walking holidays in Australia. Absolutely outstanding – so many dimensions to it, and you kept exceeding expectations. Congratulations!

Sarah, David and family, March 2017:   Thank you for a wonderful week, the lovely yummy, delicious, scrumptious, tummy rolling, filling, generous food. We have loved every sunrise and all the effort love and delight the whole team has bought to the holiday.

Angela, Melbourne, March 2017:   One of the finest and most rewarding walks of the many I have done to date. The beauty of the coastal scenery, the warmth of the air and the people of Minnie will stay with me always. Thank you for a glorious time.

Nola, Melbourne, March 2017:   Nothing was ever too much trouble. Adrian and Gina were fantastic guides/hosts. The catering staff were approachable, friendly, concerned and provided us with an abundance of healthy, tasty dishes. Phil, the driver, was fun and a safe driver. Minnie Water was delightful, especially our location. Annette provided an excellent, most welcomed yoga session.

Angela, Brisbane, April 2016:   Walking in Yuraygir has left its mark on me. There is a certain quality of peacefulness associated with the memories of big skies, banksias, beaches with kelp, the body walking briskly, with scenes from childhood at my elbow. This was a part of Australia new to me, but one that made me feel at home… There was the pleasure of having an evening meal brought to the door of our comfortable house in Minnie Water. We were looked after thoughtfully, and we left reluctantly. And the oysters at Wooli were magnificent!

Isabell, Sydney, March 2016:   Thank you so much for the lovely time. You went out of your way to make this walk possible for us. I wish you success for the conservation program and will recommend the walk to our friends.

Michelle, Brisbane, March 2016:   Adrian, you and your team were just fabulous.  You catered for all our needs and last minute changes.  Your whole team were approachable, hardworking, very flexible and extremely friendly.  I felt like I was part of the Yuraygir family.  Please tell the ladies and wider team that the food was awesome and our special dietary eaters were very impressed… The coastal views were spectacular and the bush tracks serene, I am so glad I had the opportunity to experience this… So once again thank you.

Greg, October 2015:   Adrian and Gina have brought together a wonderful team of local people in Minnie Water to give walkers an opportunity to be spoiled with beautiful meals while experiencing and learning about the spectacular environment of the coastal Clarence Valley region. Our walk was a 65km treat with abundant wildlife encountered on both land and sea. Fittingly, they started it with an interaction with a representative of the local indigenous community that was personal and moving. Gina’s inspiring knowledge and track record with the National Parks and Wildlife Service continue to deliver new hope for some of the endangered flora and fauna that she dedicates so much of her energies to. The whole team is low-key and unimposing and they create many opportunities for an inspirational experience. Thank you all so much!

Heather, October 2015:   Adrian, Gina, Phil, Lauren, Karen – you all bent over backwards to make this a most memorable stay – great fun, excellent food and such knowledgeable, support and generous. Many thanks indeed.

Anne, October 2015:   Yuraygir is my first supported walk – and what an amazing experience. I’m hooked… I particularly enjoyed the sustainability lens with which we viewed the landscape through the knowledge and wisdom of our guides. Thank you for a wonderful few days.

Silvana, August 2015:   It truly was a fantastic trip. I have travelled a great deal in the last 30 years and this glorious walk is one of the highlights of my travels. Everything seemed to fit together perfectly and your team read the wishes, mood and ability of the group to perfection. Relaxed and wonderful walking. I just wish you did other walks so I could join you and your wonderful style again.

Mary, August 2015:   It was such a great 4 day walk – brilliant, a little challenging at times yet made manageable by the support we had and the interest your team generated for us all.

Susanne, August 2015:   This fantastic walk had it all – majestic coastal scenery, solitude and terrific back-up support and guides. Food and lodgings were great too, so enjoyed it all in style.

Pam, August 2015:   I had a lovely time. Everything about it was terrific. You were all very caring and obliging which was great for me as I wasn’t too well on day 1 & 2. The scenery was wonderful. Gina and Adrian you were great guides, incredibly knowledgeable. The food and accommodation were terrific. The beach sunrise every morning was breathtaking. The walk was a bit of stretch but not too hard… Overall really great experience and value for money and wonderful that 50% of profits go back to the environment. I will definitely do it again. Thank you so much.

Cheryl, April 2015:   I am acutely aware of what a unique adventure Ros and I have had. It was a privilege and absolute pleasure to take part… Your passion for the area and wealth of knowledge and personalities so enriched our walk… Thank you so much. We have really enjoyed your company, as well as your guiding and assistance. It has been a terrific experience.

Roslyn, April 2015:   How fortunate and utterly spoiled I was to have your team manage my first taste of ‘serial’ walking. You (Adrian and Gina) were so positive an encouraging at all points of the experience, so I felt truly looked after and attended. Your expertise and beautiful natures fostered my trust which was for me very necessary… I can’t wait for the calendar opportunity to return and bring my husband.

Joy, Port Lincoln, SA, August 2017:  I have never done any of these walks before. Found this whole experience far exceeded my expectations of information provided, caring and concern for all showed by ALL staff. The excellent better than restaurant home cooked meals provided 3 times a day and fridge restocked daily – superb. Amazing value for money. Would highly recommend to others. I have NOT ONE complaint.

Charlene, Brisbane, June 2017:   My husband and 2 teenagers and i went on a self guided walk and Yuraygir Walks did our pick ups and drop offs to our accommodation each day. They organised our boat crossings, and provided us with all the info we needed each day. The walk was so spectacular. There was no complaints from the kids. They enjoyed the adventure. Spotting whales and dolphins, sea turtles and sooo many birds. From climbing rocks to crunching over the pebbly beaches, marvelling at all those shells and discovering caves, wading through station creek to going on river crossings they had an adventure they will never forget. Thanks so much Yuraygir Walks. We loved every minute.

Suellen, Brisbane, October 2016:   We had a great time on the walk and what a beautiful part of the country. There was something new to see every day.  The rock platform on day 4 isn’t for the faint hearted and I had a real sense of achievement and relief at the end of it! The river crossings and the return transfer all went very smoothly and it was comforting to know that you were in the background if we needed you. Thanks very much for your help. Will certainly be recommending it to my friends.

Stephen, Newcastle, October 2016:   I have just completed a custom walk from Angourie to Red Rock which has been one of my best walking experiences… It is a surprisingly varied, beautiful, wild and rugged stretch of coastline. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to walk along pristine white sand beaches scattered with countless beautiful shells, over a scarily jagged rock platform that took some endeavour and a little luck to traverse safely, through ancient paper bark and banksia forests, through heath profusely strewn with flannel flowers and across beautiful clean rivers bursting with life… At every moment I was accompanied by birds… It was such a privilege to be out in the elements, walking on my own, watching inspirational whales doing their thing that I shall never forget… Adrian’s ability to understand exactly what I wanted to do and his willingness to accommodate my requests was the reason why my walk worked seamlessly and why I want to recommend him and his business to anyone wanting to walk the Yuraygir coast and to thank him and the people who assist him for a fantastic experience.

Eddy, Brisbane, June 2016:   I just completed a solo version of the four-day walk.  It was the most wonderful way to reconnect with nature and to enjoy some rare solitude. Adrian and Gina supported me with local knowledge and logistics to allow me to do it safely. Precious memories… Thank you!
